PROFILE - Our Latest Favorite Fashion Icons

Like our tastes, our style icons evolve – the same person whose style we idolized back in 2017 isn’t necessarily to our taste anymore, and that's why we want to share our hidden Instagram gems with you. Inspiration can come from unexpected places, so get ready to be floored by these ladies’ awesome style.

We don’t know about you but we are so bored of seeing the same Instagrammers day in and day out – the same, commercial BS that isn’t the least bit inspiring, and takes up unnecessary space on our feeds, so try something new today – follow one of the lovely ladies below and feel inspired by the masterpiece that is her wardrobe!

1. La French Pique

Not only is Johanna, or La French Pique, a fashion icon – but also turns her hand to embroidery. She can usually be seen in sassy slogan-embroidered tees from her own online shop with flashes of color and a picturesque Parisian background – what more could you possibly want for your feed? She oozes Parisian sophistication but sprinkles a bit of her own modern magic onto her outfits. She can work a Blair Waldorf-esque preppy vibe as she can that of Wanderlust with tropical and unique prints. She’s definitely one to watch!

2. Sarah Hara

Sarah is an Instagrammer I discovered through the explore page and her feed is so aesthetically pleasing and satisfying to look at. It’s got all the vintage vibes whilst playing with androgynous pieces. She tries out all those challenging trends for us and has such a different take on style. Her photos just look so cool – a chunky oversized knit manages to look badass with a pair of trusty sneakers. It’s so refreshing to see someone on Instagram that isn’t about unartistic snaps in the nude, right?

3. Sherlock Diary

Dita Sherlock, blogger, self-proclaimed fashion enthusiast and creative director has a very inspirational style. It’s subtle, yet feminine and effortless. Her color palette is essentially neutral tones with hints of tans and rusts and she always gets it right. She knows what she loves and she sticks to it, she’s true to herself, and that’s what we love! Her looks always appear put-together and high-end because of their simplicity. We can’t wait to see what she has in store for 2019!

4. Tara Chandra

Meet Australian influencer Tara Chandra, her style is eclectic to say the least – but its audacity and vivacity make us so happy. She’s not afraid to experiment with 90s-inspired pieces with a splash of 2018 through Crayola Brights. Tara has inspired us to be more creative, playful and bold with our style for life – and we’re sure you can all pull off those brighter tones, ladies! Tara wears her outfits with ferocity and confidence, but so can you.

5. Nikki Marinus

We love Nikki’s style because it’s sexy but in a tasteful way, she shows a hint of flesh with class and it somehow makes her look edgier. She is so versatile too – she can go from sportswear with her favorite oversized sweater dress or be cute and girly with a cami dress – whatever she wears, she makes it her own. She’s a style chameleon, and we find it all the more relatable. Experimenting is the only way you’re going to find your way on the crazy road to pinpointing your style.

Have we introduced you to any new favorites? Let us know yours – who has inspired your style in 2018? Maybe you will introduce us to ones we didn’t know, get commenting ladies!
