STYLE - Top 5 French Fashionistas To Follow
We always admire the French and their sense of style – Parisian Chic has become a goal for its timelessness and sophistication and Riviera vibes have been the ones to aim for in the summertime. All year round, French fashionistas just get it right. They manage to inject parts of their personalities into a classic wardrobe that will take them from desk to dinner. It’s all very well trying to achieve a style – but it still has to be you.
We say classic, but note we didn’t say plain, or boring. Just because something is simple and minimal, it doesn’t mean that they are lackluster. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again – sometimes, the chicest outfits are in fact the simplest. They let their incredible style do the talking, no gimmicks included.
Here are some of our favorite French Fashionistas whose looks are achievable yet enviable, and don’t necessarily need a big budget. All you need are a few sophisticated pieces, and an attitude to match.
1. Lucie Mahé
Lucie Mahé is a stylist based in Paris, so it’s no surprise that she’s got Parisian Chic down to a tee. She knows how to rock androgynous tailoring as she does a silk dress – the trick is grace and elegance. She adds a hint of statement with a dramatic handbag or oversized sunglasses for that extra bit of impact, all whilst playing with her basics. As well as being a stylist, Lucie is also the founder of Gavroche Vintage, selling one of a kind vintage pieces – we see big things ahead for her!
2. Elisa May
Elisa May has one of the most aesthetically-pleasing Instagram feeds to ever exist – with bold splashes of color, she’s not afraid to experiment with bolder shades whilst still maintaining a more feminine look. Her Instagram is organized by color scheme, so you can admire her outfits in all shades possible – from bright red to pastel blue, she’s playful all whilst keeping true to herself, we love it!
3. Little Flow
Floriane, or Little Flow, is an influencer from Lyon, further south of France, and is another one who is playful with her style. Though she plays it Parisian at times, she also likes to edgen some of her more Bohemian-inspired outfits with a hint of rock and roll. Though she’s more experimental than others, she doesn’t get sucked in by ridiculous or meaningless trends. She plays and clashes her prints all whilst keeping some balance – there’s still a lot of thought and personality in her looks.
4. Constance Arnoult
PR and event manager Constance Arnoult is pretty big at the moment, and it’s no wonder why. She loves playing it preppy as she does Bohemian and is renowned for her long blonde locks and red lipstick. She is the epitomy of Parisian chic – she oozes cool and laid-back vibes all whilst pulling amazing outfits out of the bag with confidence. Showing that she’s got it all going for her, she’s working and studying communication in Paris, showing again that power women have got style and elegance – and one doesn’t rule out the other.
5. As Wild Child

Camille, from Nantes, is a fashion and lifestyle influencer who has her own blog and updates her Instagram with her latest looks. With an aesthetically-pleasing minimal vibe, Camille knows that stripped back is sometimes the best way. Camille loves a Bohemian look – think an asymmetrical midi skirt with a cozy knit for perfect street style, or a playful pair of denim dungarees and Converse for a sailor-inspired look. She’s like a style chameleon, whatever she decides her style will be that day, she will own it.
