Have you ever Googled a date night outfit or what to combine with a pleated skirt for the office? We’ve all done it. On Pinterest, we find some gorgeous imagery that gives us so many a-ha moments from learning how one piece could be styled with another in so many different ways. Given how today's influencers brainwash uswith sponsored outfits instead of their own style choices, it feels so good to take the control and search for a style with our own free will. For those who feel lost in the Instagram bubble, Pinterest cuts the clutter, showing what you are truly looking for.
You’re no longer cutting out images and sticking them in your scrapbook like when you were a kid, but Pinterest is the next best thing. The cool thing is all inspirations we find are not restricted to posting time, which makes the whole thing timeless. So searching for floral dress lets you see floral dresses in endless varieties from office style to latest Paris street style. Every woman at our She Is Rebel HQ is literally big fan of pinning outfits on private Pinterest boards and making decisions like a style genius on what we need to shop, or wear to next occasion.
Inspiration comes from what we happen to chance upon, it comes from what we absorb out accidently and sometimes this can be done unconsciously. When we open up Instagram and everything is almost force-fed to us, can we truly call this inspiration? Yes, we may still be soaking it up, but not in an inspiring way; instead more of a comparative way. We don’t voluntarily search for these “style icons” on Instagram with “Instagram baddie” captions. However, when we look for “minimalist dressing” on Pinterest, we can take what we want from it and learn more about what we like and dislike. Inspiration is supposed to be natural, and no way dictated like on Instagram.
We are wildly proud of our Street Style Boards that reach more than 3 millions of monthly viewers. (crazy!) We owe this to sharing only the best of the best, by thinking the women of She Is Rebel - from what occasions she dresses up to what kind of silhouettes reflect her true #SheIsRebel side in a stylish way. We keep up with the latest stuff happening in fashion and indulge you with inspiring fashion icons of street style. We may proudly confess that we often get lost in our boards for hours to create our style moodboards when working on our next style offerings for She Is Rebel women.
Do you know what makes your fashion dream icons 'fashion icon'? It isn't how much they have spent, or who styled them. The finishing touches make all the difference, and at Rebel HQ we love to find techniques to make you look stylish and powerful, even when we have only spent $20. Like you guys, we search high and low to find ways of being more innovative to make the most of all pieces and to avoid having unworn pieces in the back of our wardrobes. From dressing like you mean business to different ways of layering, these tips are going to be lifesavers!
